This area is dedicated to the professional development of all, though I would encourage a dedication to EMS as a profession I recognize that other factors may influence the decision to continue your education outside EMS, below you will find links to area and online programs in a multitude of health-related areas, mostly nursing, different therapists, and management.
In an effort to encourage employees to pursue education for professional development or possible transfer to another area in the hospital, Wishard has a GREAT tuition reimbursement program. Forms can be found in HR at Wishard in Ott 205. the main forms are described below.
Course Approval- which must be filled out Before classes begin
Tuition Reimbursement- must be filled less than 2 weeks after grades are released, grade report (C+ or better), reciept, and supervisor signature required
To possibly recieve help for outside education (non-college), Wishard also has an external workshop reimbursement option. (again available in HR)
